Priyanka Chopra Admits Some Men In Her Life Have Been INSECURE About Her Success, Says ‘It's Threatening To Their Territory When Women Is More Successful’
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is currently busy promoting her new web show Citadel, has been making headlines for her candid and honest confessions. In a new interview, PeeCee confessed there were some men in her life who have been insecure about her success. She explained that men for many years have enjoyed the freedom and pride of being a breadwinner or leaders of the family so it is threatening to their territory when a woman earns more or when she is more successful.

Speaking with Bollywoodlife, the Sky Is Pink actress mentioned that she feels very proud that she has surrounded herself with men be it her father, husband Nick Jonas, or friends that don’t have such insecurities. Priyanka was quoted saying, “I have some incredible men in my life who are not insecure about my success. But I have also met men in life who are very insecure about my success. I think Men have enjoyed the freedom and pride of being a breadwinner or leaders of the family, it is threatening to their territory when a woman earns or when she is more successful. If a man stays at home and women go to work he will feel bad so we have to teach our sons that there is no shame in crying, being able to share the opportunity with your mother, sister, wife, or girlfriend to give them the spotlight. It’s amazing.”


She added, “My dad this to my mother when she was getting into practice, he was in the military, and my mother was earning more. There was no ego between them. Now, today when I am walking the red carpet with my husband Nick when he steps aside and gives me center stage, I feel very proud that I have surrounded myself with men that don’t have such insecurities. On a related note, Priyanka is making her OTT debut with the American science fiction action thriller television series 'Citadel', created by David Weil and Russo brothers. It stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Citadel agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh. The web show will release its first two episodes on April 28 on Amazon Prime Video.
